Role Description
This is a full time remote role for a DevOps Engineer at Superfan.ng (SPNG). The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support the Superfan learning platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Daily responsibilities include managing Infrastructure as Code, configuring and monitoring CI pipelines, performing system administration tasks, and optimizing Linux-based environments. The role also involves collaborating with software developers to streamline deployments, improve release processes,



and troubleshoot production issues. The DevOps Engineer will contribute to operational best practices, observability, and incident response to maintain high platform availability and performance.

Qualifications
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Solid Software Development experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) for tooling, automation, and CI/CD integration.
- Hands-on Continuous Integration and deployment experience using platforms like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Proficient System Administration skills with a focus on Linux-based environments and shell scripting.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization/orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch)
