We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Transmission Line Engineering to lead the design, engineering, and execution of overhead transmission line projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in EHV/UHV transmission systems, tower and foundation design, engineering standards, and project delivery while leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring high-quality engineering outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Transmission Line Engineering

1. Lead end-to-end transmission line engineering activities.
2. Develop and review transmission line design basis, engineering calculations, and design philosophies.
3. Review route alignment, survey data, ROW constraints, and profile drawings.
4. Perform conductor, OPGW, insulation, and tower configuration selection.
5. Carry out sag-tension analysis and optimize transmission line layouts.

Structural & Foundation Design

1. Lead tower spotting using PLS-CADD.
2. Review structural analysis using PLS-Tower/PLS-Pole.
3. Coordinate foundation design based on geotechnical investigations.
4.



Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes and standards.

Project Execution

1. Review engineering deliverables before issue.
2. Resolve technical issues during project execution.
3. Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
4. Coordinate with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and internal teams.

Technical Leadership

1. Mentor engineering teams.
2. Drive engineering quality and standardization.
3. Support bid engineering and technical proposals.
4. Identify technical risks and implement mitigation plans.
