We are hiring a commercially driven Business Development Manager to generate qualified opportunities, build relationships with British clients and convert prospects into long-term partnerships.
The Role
You will lead outbound sales and business development for Storyhouse Media, targeting restaurants, hotels, bars, venues, members’ clubs and other independent hospitality businesses across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach suitable hospitality prospects across the UK
- Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email, calls and targeted outreach
- Conduct discovery calls and understand each prospect’s commercial challenges
- Present Storyhouse Media’s services and partnership solutions confidently
- Manage follow-ups, proposals and negotiations
- Maintain an organised sales pipeline and CRM
- Achieve agreed monthly meetings, opportunities and revenue targets
- Work closely with the founder on sales strategy and market positioning
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of business development or B2B sales experience
- Exceptional spoken and written English
- Confidence communicating with British business owners and senior decision-makers
- Solid understanding of professional UK business etiquette
- Experience selling marketing, creative, digital, hospitality or professional services
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable with performance-linked compensation
