Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with experience in
Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) manufacturing
to ensure quality compliance throughout the fabrication process. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, monitoring fabrication, welding, assembly, and painting activities, maintaining quality records, and ensuring all products meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw materials and verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs).
- Conduct quality inspections during cutting, drilling, fit-up, welding, fabrication, and assembly.
- Perform dimensional inspections of columns, rafters, built-up sections, purlins, girts, bracings, and accessories.
- Monitor welding quality and ensure compliance with WPS, PQR, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate and witness NDT activities such as UT, MT, and PT where required.
- Inspect surface preparation, blasting, painting, and Dry Film Thickness (DFT) as per project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, QAP, ITP, and customer requirements.




- Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, CAPA reports, and maintain QA/QC documentation.
- Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Planning, Dispatch, and Stores departments to resolve quality concerns.
- Participate in internal quality audits and support ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Ensure final inspection and clearance before dispatch of fabricated materials.
- Reduce rework, rejection, and customer complaints through effective quality control practices.
- Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Follow plant safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Key Skills
- Solid knowledge of PEB fabrication and structural steel manufacturing.
- Knowledge of welding inspection, fabrication processes, and painting quality.
- Understanding of AWS D1.1, IS
