*Design Engineer – Automotive Plastic Trim Design*

Location: Irungattukottai / Sriperumbudur, Chennai

Position: Design Engineer

Experience: 3–5 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering

Salary: Up to 20–25% hike on current CTC
- Job Responsibilities

* Design and develop automotive plastic trim components using CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX.

* Create and modify Class-A, Class-B & Class-C surfaces.

* Develop 3D models and engineering features for plastic components.

* Ensure tooling feasibility, draft analysis, and manufacturability.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams from product development to production release.
- Required Skills

*Minimum 3+ years of experience in Automotive Plastic Trim Design.

* Solid knowledge of CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX.





* Expertise in Class-A, Class-B & Class-C Surface Development.

* Good understanding of automotive plastic component design.

* Hands-on experience in Surface Modelling and Part Design.

* Knowledge of Injection Moulding processes and Tooling Concepts.

* Experience in Draft Analysis, Tooling Feasibility, and Manufacturing Considerations.

* Experience in complete product development lifecycle will be an added advantage.
