Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software testing, a passion for quality, and an eagerness to learn automation testing while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual test cases based on requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Identify, report, and verify software defects.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain test documentation and execution reports.
- Contribute to automation testing initiatives.

Required Skills
- Understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Knowledge of test case design and defect tracking (Jira or similar tools).
- Basic SQL and database testing knowledge.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude with keen attention to detail.





Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Selenium or Playwright.
- Familiarity with Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Exposure to API testing using Postman.
- Basic understanding of Git and Agile/Scrum.

Nice to Have
- Internship or academic project experience in software testing.
- ISTQB Foundation Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
