Territory Business Manager Working Capital (WC)

Department: Working Capital (WC)
Location: Mumbai
Reporting Relationship: Will have a team reporting to the role and will report to the Area Business Manager (ABM).

Job Role
- Understand client businesses and provide appropriate working capital solutions across fund-based and non-fund-based products such as Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), Demand Loan (DL), Bank Guarantee (BG), Letter of Credit (LC), and Import/Export Finance.
- Work closely with Branch Banking teams to acquire current customers and ensure closure of cases where Relationship Managers require support.
- Drive penetration of banking products including Current Accounts, Term Deposits, Transaction Banking, and Trade Finance across primary relationships and group companies.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, including CFOs and Promoters, to enhance client trust and business opportunities.
- Continuously increase portfolio size and profitability by driving business growth across key markets and business hubs.
- Understand client business models,



trade cycles, cash flows, and financing requirements to identify cross-sell and relationship expansion opportunities.
- Stay updated on market competition and strengthen the organization's presence within the target segments.
- Deliver high standards of client servicing and relationship management.
- Drive operational efficiency through continuous process improvements.
- Coordinate closely with internal operating teams to develop customized banking solutions for clients.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Relationship Managers while ensuring achievement of individual and team business targets.
- Monitor daily business updates, pipeline progress, follow-ups, and resolve team queries to ensure smooth execution.

Candidate Requirements
- Preferably MBA or CA.
- 7+ years of experience in the local market, preferably in Working Capital, SME Banking, Corporate Banking, or Commercial Banking.
