Role Overview

The Assistant Manager – Global AP & Financial Accounting (India) will own the end-to-end accounts payable function across all of OpenFX's group entities, while maintaining accurate books for the India entity. This is a hands-on role responsible for running a high-volume, multi-entity, multi-currency AP cycle, keeping vendor payments accurate and on time, and ensuring the financial records are clean and audit-ready.

Based in Bangalore and reporting to the Finance Lead, India,



this individual will partner closely with the global finance team and local consultants across jurisdictions to ensure alignment with group-level controls, reporting standards, and payment timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Accounts Payable
- Own the end-to-end accounts payable cycle across all group entities: receive, verify, code, and process vendor invoices and expense claims accurately and on time.
- Manage AP in multiple currencies and across jurisdictions, ensuring correct entity attribution, FX treatment, and adherence to local payment norms.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and approvals, resolve discrepancies, and ensure appropriate authorisation before payment under the group approval matrix.
- Prepare and execute domestic and cross-border vendor payment runs across multiple banking platforms, ensuring correct beneficiary details, amounts, and timing.
