Job Summary

Siva Sakti Construction is seeking a skilled PLC / DCS / SCADA Operator to support the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial automation systems at the NMDC Steel Plant. The selected candidate will ensure reliable operation of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems while assisting in commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Monitor process parameters, alarms, and equipment status through HMI and SCADA interfaces.
- Troubleshoot faults in PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, and automation systems.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of automation equipment.
- Assist in commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical and automation systems.
- Troubleshoot field instruments, sensors, transmitters, VFDs, and control panels.
- Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation,



and mechanical teams for timely issue resolution.
- Maintain PLC backups, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Follow safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and company policies.
- Participate in plant shutdowns and emergency maintenance activities.

Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in PLC, DCS, and SCADA operation and maintenance.
- Experience in steel plants or heavy industries is preferred.

Required Skills
- Hands-on knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Omron, etc.).
- Experience with DCS systems (ABB, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Siemens PCS7, Emerson DeltaV, etc.).
- Knowledge of SCADA software such as WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition, or FactoryTalk.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus
