- Get the Equipment cleaned, start & perform preliminary test eg. Bowie-Dick
- Check for the sterile area stock for Dressing material, linen & other consumables
- Check for the physical stock of unsterile Dressing material & consumable items & report shortage to the supervisor or Manger

Receive used instrument & materials, which come after surgery &
- cath-lab procedures & get its clean as per the protocol
- Prepare the sets & separate as per check list & master file
- Pack PLASMA material as per the protocol & sterilize
- Sterilize the articles in priority basis & also to conform the physical, chemical & biological parameters are satisfied prior to issue to user departments. If there any problem, report it to the supervisor or Manager
- Issue sterile material all user departments only after conforming that the packs are intact, clearly labeled, dry & earliest date




- Fumigate the sterile area & get the air sampling done on weekly basis
- Take care of the key function of the department on holidays & Sundays
- Daily report to the supervisor following Documents: Bowie-Dick Test report, stock paper &pervious; days work sheet
- Get prepared linen packs, gown packs, dressing materials or any other packs those are required for maintaining the stock & in priority basis
- Operate equipment such as PLASMA sterilizer, Steam sterilizer, Washer disinfector, Ultrasonic machine rotary sealer and Boiler
- Co-ordinate with nursing staff to collect & issue CSSD supplies & also confirm the physical stock.
