We are seeking an experienced
SAP FI Consultant with strong Global Taxation expertise
to join our SAP practice. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) with hands-on knowledge of global indirect taxation processes, including VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax, Withholding Tax, and e-Invoicing requirements across multiple geographies.
The consultant will be responsible for configuration, implementation, support, and optimization of SAP FI tax processes in S/4HANA and ECC environments while collaborating with business stakeholders, tax teams, and cross-functional SAP consultants.
- Configure and support SAP FI modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Tax Accounting
- Implement and support global taxation requirements:
- VAT
- GST
- Sales & Use Tax
- Withholding Tax
- Reverse Charge Mechanism
- e-Invoicing & e-Reporting
- Design and maintain tax procedures across multiple countries and legal entities.
- Work on SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation projects and rollout programs.
- Integrate FI processes with:
- MM
- SD
- CO
- Treasury
- Procurement
- Collaborate with tax and finance stakeholders for statutory compliance and localization requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments, enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
- Support tax determination, tax reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Conduct unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production support activities.
- Drive issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements.
Mandatory Qualifications
- 5+ years of SAP FI/FICO experience.
- Minimum 1-2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
- Solid experience in Global Taxation and localization requirements.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
