10+ Years

Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of experience writing, analyzing, and optimizing SQL for large-scale enterprise databases.
- 5+ years of experience with
Amazon Redshift
and/or
Amazon RDS PostgreSQL
.
- Solid expertise in
PostgreSQL query performance tuning
, execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, statistics, partitioning, and database optimization.
- Experience writing
PL/pgSQL stored procedures
, functions, and database scripts.
- Experience with
Database Administration
activities in PostgreSQL and/or Redshift.
- Strong understanding of
Data Warehouse architecture
and
Star/Snowflake schema design
.
- Experience with
Git
, DevOps practices, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical,



and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with BI tools such as
Power BI
and/or
Web Intelligence (WebI)

- Hands-on experience with AWS technologies including
S3, Lambda, EMR, EC2, Kubernetes, Kinesis
, etc.
- Linux development experience.
- Experience building and supporting
ETL/ELT
pipelines.
- Python programming experience.
- Exposure to Big Data technologies such as
Spark, Hadoop, Kafka

Educational Background

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
