? Role Summary:??

The role involves undertaking pricing and building commercial models for customers by?

collaborating with the Business Team, Sourcing, and GCD. It also includes analytics for?

management with a focus on competitive edge mapping for GSL.?

? Primary Responsibilities:?

1. Pricing Costing :??

? Lead end-to-end costing and pricing strategy for key products and strategic customers,?

balancing margin optimization, competitiveness, and long-term value creation.?

? Design and validate pre-costing frameworks and financial workings to support recent?

business decisions, customer negotiations, and product profitability assessments.?

? Proactively review portfolio profitability, identify structurally low-margin SKUs, conduct?

detailed cost diagnostics, and provide data-backed insights and recommendations to?

Business Managers for corrective actions.?

? Act as a strategic thought partner to Key Account Managers and Sales teams, providing?





analytical rigor, scenario evaluation, and commercial insights to enhance deal quality and?

business outcomes.?

2. Transfer Pricing:?

? Ensuring that transactions between related entities (like a parent company and its?

subsidiary) are priced fairly and comply with tax regulations basis discussion with Taxation?

Team.?

3. Finance Credit Control :??

? Ascertain Credit Limit for Customers basis alignment with Business Team and Finance?

Team?

4. Hygiene Maintenance:??

? Ensure value protection by conducting contribution analysis, cost validation, contract?

status monitoring, etc.?

? Analyse Free Trade Agreements of India with Other Nations and arrive on quantifiable?

insights for Business to act on.?

5. Analytics:??

? Prepare MIS reports, interpret data, and provide analysis for senior management.?

? Conduct market size mapping, competition analysis, and competitive edge mapping
