Role & responsibilities

To lead and manage the entire administrative function of a large-scale manufacturing plant, ensuring smooth operations of facilities, security, statutory compliance, and employee services. The role demands strong leadership, discipline, and crisis management capabilities preferably from an Ex-Servicemen background.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Administration & Facility Management
- Oversee end-to-end administration of plant covering office, shop floor, and residential facilities (if applicable).
- Manage housekeeping, canteen, transportation, and landscaping services.
- Ensure optimal utilization and upkeep of infrastructure and assets.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and vendor efficiency.

2. Security & Vigilance
- Lead plant security operations including access control, surveillance, and perimeter protection.
- Develop and implement SOPs for security, emergency response, and crisis management.
- Liaise with local police, intelligence agencies, and authorities.
- Handle investigations, theft prevention, and vigilance-related matters.

Legal & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local laws (Factories Act, Shops & Establishment, Labour Laws, etc.).
- Manage licenses, audits, inspections, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory bodies.

4. Vendor & Contract Management
- Identify, onboard, and manage administrative vendors (security, housekeeping, transport, etc.).
- Monitor SLAs, performance, costs, and contract compliance.
- Lead negotiations and periodic reviews.

5. Employee Services & Welfare
- Ensure effective employee amenities (canteen, transport, accommodation, medical facilities, etc.).
- Handle employee grievance related to facilities.
- Improve workplace experience and employee satisfaction.

6. Crisis & Emergency Management
- Develop disaster management plans (fire, safety, natural disasters, strikes).
