Job Description: Node.js / NestJS Developer with AWS (ECS/EKS)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Node.js/NestJS Developer with strong experience in AWS cloud services, containerization, and using Amazon ECS/EKS. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices-based applications while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js/ NestJS
- Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS ECS and EKS (Kubernetes).
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Implement security best practices, monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Integrate applications with AWS services such as:
- Lambda
- API Gateway
- S3
- RDS
- DynamoDB
- CloudWatch
- IAM
- SNS/SQS




- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.
- Write clean, scalable, and testable code following best practices.

Required Skills

Backend Development
- Solid experience in Node.js and NestJS Framework.
- Good to have exp in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket implementations.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2, OpenID Connect).

Cloud & DevOps
- Hands-on experience with AWS ECS and/or EKS deployments.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of networking concepts including VPC, Load Balancers, Security Groups, and Route53.

Database
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar databases.
