Position Summary

IPE Globals Social and Economic Empowerment practice workstowards building girl capital, empowering women and nurturing resilientcommunities by creating inclusive and sustainable solutions, including but notlimited to policy development, capacity building, adaptive management,community mobilisation, behavioural change communication, deepening socialsafety nets, beneficiary feedback analysis, poverty assessment, andevidence-based monitoring.





We seek a energetic and strategic leader to spearhead aninnovative program to support the delivery of school-based vocational educationin select States of India. The State Lead will be responsible for identifyingkey barriers and designing interventions to expand vocational pathways withinsecondary education, with a core goal of reducing school dropout rates andincreasing student retention. The role ensures alignment with the nationaleducation policy and vocational skilling ecosystem. It involves extensivestakeholder engagement, capacity building, and program management to promoteaspirational courses, hands-on skills, employability, and entrepreneurshipamong students.

Key Responsibilities

Programme strategy design and execution
- Analyse state educational needs and student aspirations to developa state action plan for vocational education expansion in schools, aligned withthe national roadmap, NEP 2020 and national skills ecosystem reforms.
- Lead creation of a model VE dist
