Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end purchase activities for manufacturing requirements.
- Follow up with vendors for quotations, Purchase Orders (POs), and material deliveries.
- Visit vendor facilities whenever required to monitor production progress and resolve delays.
- Ensure all vendor manufacturing processes are completed as per the project timeline.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Planning teams to understand material priorities.
- Track outsourced jobs from order placement until delivery.
- Expedite delayed materials and ensure timely availability for production.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize suppliers.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor follow-up reports, and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with Stores and Quality teams for material receipt and inspection.
- Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and delivery commitments.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience:
6 Months 1 Year in Purchase, Procurement, Vendor Follow-up, or Supply Chain.
- Education: Any Degree / Diploma (MBA, B.Com, BBA, BE Preferred).
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong follow-up and coordination abilities.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and Email communication.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, machining, or textile machinery is an added advantage.
- Willing to travel to vendor locations for production follow-up.
- Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license (own vehicle preferred).
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
