We?re looking for a contract UI-focused React developer to help build and refine analytical, data-driven web?

applications for a quantitative trading firm. This role is hands-on and implementation-driven, working in?

Key responsibilities?

? Building and maintaining UI components in React + TypeScript?

? Developing data visualization and analytical interfaces (tables, charts, dashboards)?

? Implementing responsive layouts and design systems using Tailwind CSS?

? Working within applications that mix server-side and client-side logic?

? Making informed decisions about what belongs on the client vs. the server?

? Integrating UI with backend APIs that serve time-series and quantitative data?

? Optimizing rendering performance for large datasets and frequent updates?

? Debugging issues related to async data, re-renders, and UI state consistency?

Key competencies :

Required Skills?

? Strong experience with React and TypeScript?





? Transparent understanding of client vs. server responsibilities in modern React apps?

? Experience building data-heavy UIs (tables, charts, filters, dashboards)?

? Comfortable working with asynchronous data flows and state management?

? Solid command of Tailwind CSS and responsive design patterns?

? Ability to reason about performance, memoization, and rendering efficiency?

? Able to work independently in an existing, complex codebase?

Nice to Have?

? Experience with financial, trading, or analytical applications?

? Familiarity with charting or visualization libraries (e.g. ECharts, Chart.js)?

? Experience handling time-series data or streaming updates?

? Strong attention to UI precision and data accuracy?

? Experience collaborating via Git (PRs, reviews, async communication)
