Role & responsibilities

1. Troubleshooting & Breakdown Management
Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and troubleshoot control systems to ensure minimal production disruption.
Maintain and troubleshoot process control systems for critical Formulation equipment, including Granulation, Compression, Coating, Bottle & Blister packaging machines, and Blenders, operating strictly as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).

2. Preventive Maintenance & CalibrationPlan, coordinate, and execute shutdown and routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities for all assigned process and packaging equipment within the formulation unit.
Perform accurate calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of process control instruments (e.g., sensors, transmitters for temperature, pressure, flow, and level).
Conduct routine maintenance, overhaul, and calibration of industrial control valves, including Butterfly, Globe, and diaphragm valves.

3. Automation & PLC Diagnostics





Conduct complex fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and their respective I/O modules to resolve automation failures.

4. Validation & Qualification

Drive and execute equipment qualification and validation activities, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ), ensuring all documentation aligns with site SOPs.

5. Compliance & Safety

Perform all maintenance, calibration, and documentation tasks in strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Positive Engineering Practices (GEP).
Ensure all engineering interventions meet internal safety protocols and environmental health standards.
