Position Summary

Consultant, Direct Tax – USI Firms Tax

We are looking for professionals with sound working knowledge in Indian domestic and international tax law matters.

Work you’ll do

As a part of this team you will be expected to possess and demonstrate the following work skill-sets

Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Sound understanding of financial accounting (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows) and financials.
Experience in preparing General account schedules.
Experience in preparing supporting work papers to support tax returns.
Experience in handling tax compliances
Data complying for tax audits
Filling of Form 3CD (Fair knowledge of all clauses of Form 3CD)
Knowledge of data requirement of tax computation
Filling of Income Tax returns
Form 26 AS reconciliation & AIS reconciliation.
Preparation and filing of Monthly TDs payments & Quarterly return related activity for TDS.
Drafting tax responses, submissions and representation before tax office
Fair knowledge of e-filing Income tax portal




Must have fair knowledge of Income tax law including international tax law.
Knowledge of tax assessment and related activities including drafting of responses.
Proficiency in MS Office (including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills).
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a dynamic work workplace.

The team

This position is a part of the Deloitte US India Firms Tax team. This Deloitte US India Firms Tax team is responsible for ensuring entity level compliances for all the Deloitte US India companies, besides catering to the tax essentials and advise to the internal business and enabling functions ecosystems. The team consists of tax professionals with adequate expertise in handling tax matters. This team works in close coordination with the USI finance, legal and enabling teams besides business teams to ensure optimum tax health of the Deloitte US India companies.
