Position Overview:
Scispot is hiring an Implementation Specialist to support innovative, fast-growing biotech customers. You’ll combine hands-on wet-lab and lab informatics experience with strong project management and customer-facing skills to deliver tailored Scispot deployments, drive adoption, and ensure our product meets real-world scientific needs. You will collaborate closely with engineering, science, sales, and marketing teams to onboard customers, support product launches, test recent features, and iterate on our platform to accelerate scientific discovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead implementations: Plan and execute end-to-end implementation for new clients, ensuring smooth setup with explicit values and timely delivery
Understand customer workflows: Analyze customer processes and pain points in R&D; and operations, and recommend platform/workflow configurations that improve productivity and data quality.
Onboard and upgrade accounts: Partner with engineering and CS teams to establish new accounts and upgrade existing customers; deliver training tailored to user roles.
Support product launches: Work with marketing and sales to provide scientific input and customer-facing materials during product rollouts.
Enhance technology features: Feed customer insights into product development, helping prioritize and shape features that solve biotech-specific problems.
Test new features: Validate and test new functionality, ensuring it performs in real-world lab contexts.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in LIMS implementation, customer success, skilled services, or related roles within the life sciences.
Strong wet-lab background and familiarity with lab workflows and data needs.
Proven track record leading lab software implementations.
High energy, proactive problem-solver with strong analytical and project management skills.
Flexible to work non-routine hours to support customers across time zones.
