What You’ll Do

Eaton’s Corporate IT team is seeking a System Analyst – EDI to join our EDI team. This role is pivotal in driving enterprise digitization and supporting our global B2B EDI customers and suppliers across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.

As part of our product-centric, results-driven IT model, the System Analyst will play a key role in enabling effective, scalable EDI solutions that align with Eaton’s digital transformation goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, continuous improvement, and alignment with architectural standards.

Serve as the primary point of contact for EDI integrations involving SAP SD/MM and EDI business processes.
Partner with the EDI Product Owner to decompose epics into actionable features and user stories aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a prioritized and well-groomed product backlog, ensuring requirements are clear and ready for development.




Engage with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and recommend effective EDI-enabled solutions.
Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and effort estimation for epics, features, technical enablers, and user stories.
Ensure user stories meet the Definition of Ready (DoR) before entering development.
Provide Level 3 support for EDI production incidents, performing root cause analysis and driving timely issue resolution.
Collaborate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, SAP functional teams, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Assess the impact of business process changes on SAP and EDI solutions, ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and business needs.
Lead end-to-end trading partner onboarding activities, including requirements gathering, SAP setup coordination, EDI mapping, testing, and production deployment.
