Required Skills & Experience

Mature, hands-on programming skills in JavaScript (Node.js) and TypeScript
Strong grasp of software design patterns, distributed systems, and microservices architecture
Proven experience architecting scalable, resilient, high-performance systems
Deep understanding of secure programming practices and common vulnerability classes
Experience with data-intensive systems: databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, message queues, streaming (Kafka, etc.)
Robust code review skills with a track record of mentoring engineering teams
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Solid understanding of API design (REST/GraphQL), event-driven architecture, and integration patterns

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

Design scalable, resilient, and high-performing architectures for complex,



data-intensive systems
Define architectural patterns, standards, and best practices across the technology stack
Evaluate trade-offs between performance, scalability, cost, and maintainability
Produce architecture diagrams, technical design documents, and decision records

Hands-On Engineering

Write production-quality code (primarily JavaScript/TypeScript) to prototype, validate, and guide implementation
Contribute to critical or complex modules alongside development teams
Stay current with modern programming paradigms, frameworks, and tooling

Code Quality & Review

Lead and participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to design principles, performance standards, and maintainability
Establish coding standards, style guides, and review checklists
Mentor engineers on clean code, design patterns, and architectural thinking
