Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in solar power projects to support the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, structural design, and solar project execution while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and review mechanical layouts for utility-scale and rooftop solar PV projects.
Prepare and evaluate mounting structure designs, support systems, and foundation layouts.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Supervise installation of module mounting structures, trackers, and other mechanical components.
Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for solar installations.
Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and vendor documents.




Monitor project progress and ensure completion within the planned schedule and budget.
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients during project execution.
Perform quality inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical installations.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation and operation.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
Optimize mechanical designs to improve project performance and reduce costs.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for operational solar plants.
Ensure proper documentation of engineering calculations, drawings, inspection records, and project reports.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
2–8 years of experience in solar EPC, utility-scale solar, or rooftop solar projects.
