Designation: Construction Lead – Civil (Solar EPC)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and capable Construction Lead – Civil to manage, oversee, and deliver all civil and structural works for ground-mounted or utility-scale solar EPC projects. The Construction Lead will be responsible for civil execution from site preparation through foundations, plant infrastructure, and overall civil completion — ensuring quality, safety, schedule adherence, and compliance with design & project specifications.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Site Planning & Preparation

Review project civil/structural drawings, scope of works, and contract documents to understand full civil scope (site grading, earthworks, foundations, drainage systems, internal roads, boundary fencing, substation/equipment foundations, and other civil infrastructure).

Develop detailed civil works schedules/plans aligned with overall project timeline; define milestones,



resource requirements (materials, manpower, equipment), and site mobilization plan.

Estimate quantities for civil works (earthwork, concrete, reinforcement, finishing, infrastructure) and prepare BOQ / material requisitions / bar-bending schedules as needed.

Civil Construction & Execution

Supervise all civil construction activities at site: site grading/levelling, earthwork, excavation/filling, foundation works (pile or shallow), RCC/structural works, access/internal roads, drainage systems, fencing/boundary walls, equipment & substation foundations — as per design.

Manage subcontractors, civil labour, site supervisors, and ensure proper execution of work per drawings and specifications.

Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g. electrical, structural, procurement) especially where civil works interface with equipment foundations, cable trenches, plant layout, etc.
