Lead and mentor an offshore Data Ops team- define roles, set goals, manage performance
· Hands-on incident leadership- personally join critical data incidents, triage issues, guide root-cause analysis, and validate fixes before escalation
· Own end-to-end data operations- plan workflows, allocate tasks, manage capacity/shifts, and ensure coverage for 24/7 pipelines
· Troubleshoot complex pipeline failures, configuration issues, and data quality problems; provide technical solutions and coding fixes when needed
· Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices across the offshore team
· Coordinate with onshore Data Ops team to align priorities, manage expectations, and resolve blockers
· Monitor operational metrics (pipeline success rates, data quality, SLA adherence) and report to onshore Data Ops management
· Drive tooling and platform improvements- evaluate current technologies, configure CI/CD, and implement automation to reduce manual work.
