About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced legal qualified to strengthen Scapia's legal function across commercial legal advisory, regulatory matters, legal risk management, and dispute resolution. While prior litigation experience is preferred and will be valuable in handling disputes and regulatory matters, the role has a broader mandate of partnering with business teams to enable growth while managing legal risk.
The ideal candidate combines sound legal judgment with a practical business mindset and is comfortable working with cross-functional teams, external counsel, regulators, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Legal Advisory




Provide practical legal advice to business teams on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, partnerships, vendor contracts, customer-facing terms, and strategic initiatives.
Identify legal risks and recommend pragmatic mitigation measures.
Support legal aspects of new products, business initiatives, and partnerships.

Regulatory & Compliance Support
Draft and review responses to notices, summons, complaints, and communications from regulatory authorities, statutory bodies, and law enforcement agencies.
Liaise with regulators, government authorities, and external agencies as required.
Support investigations, regulatory information requests, and compliance-related matters.

Dispute Resolution & Litigation (Preferred Experience)
Support and manage litigation matters across consumer, civil, commercial, and other legal forums, where applicable.
