Senior Mechanical Engineer – Combined Cycle Power Plant Design

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy team in Gurgaon. You will shape the design of combined cycle power plants, working on first-of-their-kind projects that push the boundaries of engineering excellence. Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering cleaner, more efficient energy solutions.

What You'll Do

Provide technical leadership in the basic and detailed design of main plant components, including Gas Turbines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and Steam Turbines.
Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed project reports to assess viability and guide decision-making on combined cycle power plant projects.
Prepare essential design documentation such as Design Criteria, PFDs, P&IDs;, system descriptions, sizing calculations, RFPs, and tender evaluations.




Coordinate with equipment vendors to ensure components meet required international standards and project specifications.
Apply international standards including ASME, HEI, ASME-TDP, API, and HIS across all design activities.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver integrated engineering solutions.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
18+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with a strong track record in combined cycle power plant design.
In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems and pumps used in combined cycle applications.
Proven expertise in preparing design documentation, feasibility studies, and vendor evaluations.
Robust familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME, HEI, AP
