The consultant will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Python-based solutions that automate financial messaging, trade settlement matching, and exception identification processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python development and integration, along with a strong understanding of SWIFT messaging standards and ISO 20022.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based applications for financial messaging and trade settlement automation.
Work with SWIFT messages and financial messaging standards, including ISO 20022.
Develop solutions to extract and process relevant information from SWIFT messages and perform automated matching based on predefined business criteria.
Work with SWIFT message types such as MT300, MT320, MT900, MT910, MT544, MT545, MT546, MT547, and MT548.
Build and maintain integrations between Python applications and financial systems.
Support automated trade confirmation and settlement matching processes.
Develop solutions to identify and manage exceptions in financial transaction processing.




Work with Python applications hosted on SharePoint and integrated with scheduled/automated task execution.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing automation processes.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Ensure solutions are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with financial industry standards.

Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
Experience in Python integration and automation.
