The Cloud Security Engineer is a technical resource responsible for helping design, manage, and maintain a recent Microsoft Azure cloud offering with security as a primary focus.

The role works closely with cloud engineering, information security, DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to implement secure cloud services, deployment patterns, and operational controls.

This position requires advanced knowledge of cloud computing, cloud security principles, and public cloud best practices, with hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure. The Cloud InfoSec Engineer supports secure Kubernetes/AKS, identity, secrets management, CI/CD pipeline security, vulnerability management, incident response, and SecOps practices across the cloud environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with the design, implementation, management,



and maintenance of a new Azure cloud offering with security embedded throughout the platform lifecycle.
- Partner with cloud engineering, information security, DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver secure cloud services and deployment patterns.
- Implement and maintain security controls across Azure services, AKS, identity, networking, secrets management, container registries, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support secure Kubernetes and AKS architecture, configuration, deployment practices, monitoring, and operational readiness.
- Help administer and secure Azure service principals, app registrations, managed identities, Key Vault, Azure Container Registry, Azure DevOps, and related platform services.
- Develop, document, and promote cloud security standards, hardening guidance, operational procedures, and repeatable security patterns.
- Support pipeline security practices including scanning tools, static code analysis, image scanning, dependency scanning,
