Key Responsibilities:
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Management: Develop and manage WBS for R&D; projects to ensure accurate tracking of costs and resources
Contract Management: Oversee the financial aspects of contracts, including negotiation, execution, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
Budget Management: Oversee and manage budgets for R&D; projects, ensuring alignment with financial goals and constraints.
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support R&D; decision-making, including cost-benefit analyses and financial modelling.
Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to track the financial performance of R&D; activities.
Strategic Planning:



Collaborate with R&D; and other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic planning and forecasting.
Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:
Educational Background: A degree in finance, accounting or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CPA) preferred.
Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance, particularly within the R&D; or technology sectors. Experience with financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, contract management and financial reporting is crucial.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Excel), and excellent communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams is also key.
