Your job:

Design and implementation of OT network solutions, considering the specific requirements of the production setting
Configuration and optimization of network components such as switches, routers, and firewalls
Monitoring network performance and carrying out network tests and audits as well as ensuring network security
Documenting network topologies, configurations and changes
Collaboration with external service providers and company-wide collaboration with other IT and OT product teams
Hands-on experience configuring, deploying and managing firewalls in industrial and converged IT/OT environments
Familiarity with firewall vendor products and management platforms (e.g., Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks), with certifications in Cisco, Fortinet or equivalent considered an advantage
Knowledge of secure network design principles for IT/OT convergence, micro segmentation, zero trust concepts and secure remote access architectures





Your qualification:

Successfully completed studies in communications engineering, computer science or comparable qualification
5 years of experience as a system engineer in the field of OT networks
Knowledge of network architectures, protocols, standards and technologies (e.g. Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols, IEC-62443)
Experience with industrial network components and technologies as well as knowledge of network security for OT networks
Certifications in Cisco and Fortinet or similar are an advantage and familiarity with firewall vendor products is mandatory
Independent and solution-oriented way of working, excellent communication and teamwork skills in international teams
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
