About the Role:
Looking for an experienced Database Engineer with robust expertise in SQL Server 2019 to Oracle 19c migration. The role requires hands-on experience in resolving conversion issues during lift-and-shift migrations while ensuring business logic and data integrity are not impacted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive SQL Server to Oracle 19c migration.
- Convert and optimize DB objects (SPs, tables, temp tables).
- Resolve migration/conversion issues without breaking business logic.
- Handle data migration, validation, and error handling.
- Work with SSIS/tools and switch SQL to Oracle connections.
- Address SQL vs Oracle differences (incl. transactions).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7–10 years experience in DB/Data Engineering
- SQL Server, Oracle 19c
- T-SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures
- Migration (SQL to Oracle), SSIS, SSRS
- Performance Tuning, Error Handling
- Oracle RAC, Exadata
- Strong understanding of SQL vs Oracle differences

Nice to Have:
- Migration/porting tools
- ETL/Data integration knowledge
- Large-scale migration experience
