Why this role matters:

We are seeking a Staff Engineer / Staff Architect to provide end-to-end technical leadership across our Jumper AI / Conversational Commerce platform. This role spans backend systems, frontend architecture, cloud infrastructure, and platform design, with responsibility for guiding teams building Journey Builders, event-driven orchestration engines, commerce and payment platforms, and multi-channel messaging systems.

You will operate at the architecture and system design layer, working across multiple teams and domains rather than owning a single feature. The role requires deep technical judgment, solid communication skills, and the ability to balance product velocity with long-term platform health.

Your key responsibilities:
- Define and evolve platform architecture across backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure.




- Lead architectural design for complex systems, including workflow orchestration engines, Journey Builders, commerce, and messaging platforms.
- Establish architectural principles, patterns, and standards that scale across teams and products.
- Provide technical leadership for distributed, event-driven backend systems with strong reliability guarantees.
- Guide frontend architecture for complex, high-scale products, ensuring performance, consistency, and usability.
- Drive cloud-native design on Google Cloud Platform with a focus on scalability, resilience, and operational excellence.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, mentoring senior engineers and influencing cross-team technical decisions.
