Job Responsibilities
As an Automation Engineer at Micron, your responsibilities will include:
- Automation Execution & Support:
- Support site automation systems such as Automated material Handling Systems /ASRS, AMR /AGVs, conveyors, Cobot /Cobot and material tracking tools to ensure stable operations. Programming knowledge will be added advantage.
- Execute assigned automation tasks independently under defined scope, following site and global standards,
should have Hands on Experience on Mechanical Maintenance
- Act as a key contributor during system installation, commissioning, ramp, and sustain phases.
Project Participation:
- Support automation project execution including layout reviews, checklist execution, and in office activities.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Test and system buyoff activities, ensuring issues are identified, tracked, and resolved.
- Execute defined work packages within larger automation projects.
Cross‑ Functional Coordination:
- Work closely with Facilities, Manufacturing, IT/MES, Warehouse, and Equipment Engineering teams to support automation deployment.
- Interface with vendors and OEMs for issue resolution, testing, and clarification of requirements.
- Provide regular updates on assigned tasks, risks, and issues to leads and stakeholders.
