Job Summary

The Senior BIM Modeler – Mechanical will develop and manage detailed BIM models for mechanical systems using Revit. Based in Bengaluru, this role includes producing accurate documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to BIM standards. The position also involves mentoring junior team members and supporting BIM processes and implementation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex 3D BIM models for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper coordination and integration of mechanical systems with other building components
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between mechanical and other building systems
- Create detailed shop drawings and construction documents from BIM models
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on BIM-related issues




- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and best practices in mechanical engineering

Experience, Skill & Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years’ BIM experience, with proven delivery history of LOD 350 Mechanical models in the UAE or GCC region.
- Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD MEP and BIM 360 / ACC platforms.
- Solid understanding of UAE building codes, construction methodologies, Site experience and local authority submission processes will be an added advantage.
- Solid technical knowhow of HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
- Proficient in clash detection, coordination workflows and BIM data management.
