Job Summary

We are seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the design and delivery of water transmission and distribution systems, including mains, pump stations, and storage facilities. The role involves hydraulic modeling, technical reviews, report preparation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Expertise in WaterGEMS, WaterHAMMER, and relevant design tools is essential, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design of water transmission mains, distribution networks, pump stations, and storage facilities.

Deliver concept, schematic, detailed, and final designs with required drawings and reports.

Perform steady-state and transient hydraulic analyses using WaterGEMS/WaterHAMMER.

Develop P&IDs;, conduct demand forecasting, cost–benefit analyses, and value engineering.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and review project deliverables.

Prepare technical reports, calculations, and client presentations.

Mentor junior engineers and support project leadership.

Qualification, Technical Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

20+ years in water transmission/distribution system design.

Robust expertise in hydraulic modelling, steel pipeline design, and water storage facilities.

Proficiency in WaterGEMS, WaterHAMMER, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, MS Office.

Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Gulf experience is an advantage.
