Job requirements
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Draft Confirmations requests from counterparties and internal stakeholders.
- Risk mitigate and confirm OTC derivative transitions with both internal and external clients via paper or electronic confirmation process.
- Deal with trade confirmation language discrepancies and economic breaks, investigating issues to confirm root cause and manage through to resolution
- Collaborate with counterparties and internal stakeholders - resolving urgent issues, clarification of issues or drafting points on outstanding trade confirmations.
- Create confirmation templates where necessary, seeking Sales,



Trading and Legal approvals.
- Support Risk, Legal and Trading teams, proposing solutions across documentation.
- Deliver strategic projects to drive efficiency and enhanced controls.
- Manage other tasks assigned as demand dictates.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience within the structured products space
- Knowledge of the 2002 and 2006 ISDA Equity and Swap Definitions & terms
- Knowledge of key economic (& non-economic) terms within Confirmation documentation
- Valuable front to back knowledge across Confirmations drafting space
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with OTC Equity Structured Products. Such products include Conditional Variance Swaps, Phoenix Auto calls, Swap Strategies, Worst/Best of Strategies. Covering vanilla and exotic products.
