Job Summary

The Lead Electrical Engineer – Dry Utilities will play a key role in delivering electrical designs for major infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive Middle East project experience and solid technical expertise in MV/LV underground power distribution networks, external and street lighting design, and dry utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver high-quality dry utilities design for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Plan and design Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) underground power distribution networks.

Perform external / street lighting design including photometric calculations using Dialux.

Conduct equipment sizing calculations for electrical systems and utilities.

Develop and review Pump Stations Electrical designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client and authority standards.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams to ensure seamless project integration.

Ensure all design outputs comply with relevant IEC/IEEE international standards and local authority regulations (SEWA, DEWA, ADDC).

Utilize software such as Civil 3D, ETAP, AutoCAD, and Dialux for design modeling, analysis, and documentation.

Conduct design reviews, resolve technical issues, and support QA/QC procedures.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required to Execute this Role
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.
- 10–12 years of proven experience in Dry utilities engineering within vendors, contractors, or design consultancies.
- Working experience on Middle East infrastructure projects is highly preferred
- Excellent understanding of MV/LV power distribution, routing, trenching, duct banks, and load planning.
- Proficient in external lighting design and Dialux outdoor lighting calculations.
- Competent in equipment sizing, cable sizing, and load flow analysis.
- Proficient in Civil 3D, ETAP, AutoCAD, and D
