Requirements
- 3â5 years of prior hands-on experience in finance or accounting roles such as Accountant, Financial Analyst, or Financial Controller before moving into consulting.
- Experienced Certinia (FinancialForce) Consultant with a solid combination of finance domain expertise and functional platform knowledge.
- Business-oriented consultant who understands accounting operations firsthand and can effectively engage with Controllers, Finance Managers, and CFOs using business and financial terminology rather than technical jargon.
- Drive business transformation initiatives by leading discovery workshops, designing financial process solutions, and ensuring the Certinia platform aligns with accounting standards, operational objectives, and enterprise business processes.




- Lead and facilitate discovery workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document current-state processes, and define future-state financial workflows.
- Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams by translating complex accounting and finance requirements into functional solution designs.
- Design end-to-end financial solutions within the Certinia/Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring integration across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and PSA environments.
- Provide strategic guidance on financial best practices, revenue recognition, billing automation, and month-end close optimization.
- Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), process flow diagrams, business requirements, and user stories for stakeholder validation.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business adoption, and user training with a focus on operational and business outcomes.
