Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as Scrum Master for one or more agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives).

Champion Agile values and principles across the organization and coach team members on best practices.

Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined and prioritized backlog.

Track and report on team performance metrics (velocity, sprint burndown, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement.

Identify and remove impediments to team progress.

Manage and track project budgets, monitor actual vs. planned expenditures, and provide regular budget updates to stakeholders.

Work closely with Finance, Project Managers, and Product leadership to align delivery timelines with financial goals.

Assist in resource planning and capacity forecasting while considering budget constraints.

Ensure budget adherence without compromising delivery quality or team morale.

Support risk management by anticipating budgetary risks and developing mitigation plans.

Escalation Management

Qualifications:

-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.

-
Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I or higher) – required.

-
7-15 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile/Scrum setting.

Experience managing or contributing to budgeting, financial tracking, and cost control in project delivery.

Must have knowledge on costing, budgeting and capacity planning

Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).

Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and drive team collaboration.

-
Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.

Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and budgeting tools (e.g., Excel, financial dashboards, or ERP systems).

Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, design, engineering, and finance.
