PROCUREMENT IT PROJECT MANAGER :
Role Purpose
The Procurement IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating strategic IT and system implementation projects within the Procurement environment. The role ensures the successful rollout, integration and continuous development of procurement-related platforms and system capabilities across Business Units. This includes SRM, supplier lifecycle management, sourcing, e-auctions, supplier collaboration, SAP integration, master data management, data lake / Databricks integration, reporting and related workflow or interface topics. The position acts as a bridge between Procurement, IT, Business Units, external implementation partners and system providers. The main purpose is to translate business and process requirements into structured IT project plans and to ensure delivery across complex stakeholder and system landscapes. This is a senior project leadership role. It is not intended as a junior project support role or purely operational system administration position.
Qualifications & Experience
Education :
Completed degree in Business, IT, Business Informatics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or comparable qualification; equivalent practical experience accepted.
Experience
5 to 8+ years of experience in IT project management, system implementation or digital transformation, preferably in Procurement, SRM, Sourcing or Supplier Management environments.
Skills
Proven experience in leading complex IT implementation and rollout projects.
Experience with SAP, JAGGAER, QAD, SAP Ariba, SupplyOn or comparable SRM/Sourcing platforms.
Robust understanding of Procurement processes, SRM, supplier lifecycle, sourcing and supplier collaboration.
Good understanding of system integration, interfaces, APIs, IDocs, MDM, Data Lake / Databricks and BI/reporting concepts.
Experience with procurement data models, supplier master data and reporting structures.
Strong stakeholder and vendor management ski
