About the Role

We are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to drive new business development and account growth for our Industrial IoT (IIoT) and smart factory solutions across the West India region, based out of Pune. This role is ideal for a sales qualified who understands manufacturing operations, Industry 4.0, and digital transformation, and enjoys building relationships with plant heads, IT managers, and CXOs to solve real operational problems.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential customers in manufacturing, automotive, oil & gas, energy, and other industrial sectors for IIoT solutions.
- Develop and execute a territory-specific sales strategy to grow market presence across West India.
- Generate leads, schedule meetings, and run product demos showcasing IIoT solutions.
- Convert prospects into long-term clients by understanding pain points and proposing standard or tailored IoT solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and market penetration KPIs.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, Plant Heads, IT Managers).
- Coordinate with technical teams to design solutions matched to customer requirements.
- Manage post-sales support and long-term account relationships.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging IIoT technologies; share feedback with product and marketing teams.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Maintain sales activity records in CRM and share regular sales reports with management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in Industrial IoT, automation, or industrial technology solutions.
- Proven track record selling IIoT solutions, SaaS platforms, automation software, or smart factory solutions.
