What you will do
- At Volvo Construction Equipment Technology(China), Co., Ltd, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will:
- Design and optimize ‌critical structural components‌ (undercarriages, linkages, Frames) for Volvo’s flagship loaders/excavators.
- Own components’ ‌full lifecycle‌: from CAD to SOP, ensuring cost-efficiency, quality compliance, and performance alignment with global machine standards.
- Lead cross-border collaboration (in English) to resolve field issues and implement design upgrades.

*JTC Structure team, we are the system owner of the structure system and E-mob installation system, we are the skilled engineering team in structure design and VPD area,



including the conversional structrure componets such as frames and arms and also the E-mob installation system.*
Who are you?
- A ‌mechanical engineer‌ with 5+ years’ hands-on experience in ‌heavy machinery structural design‌, specializing in loaders/excavators undercarriages, linkages, frames, attachment.
- Deep expertise in ‌welding processes‌ (arc, MIG, laser) and ‌large structural component design‌ (steel fabrication, fatigue analysis), .
- Proven track record in ‌high-voltage system integration‌ is a ‌strong plus.
- Prior ‌Mechanical Workplace Evaluation (MEE)‌ projects (vibration/shock testing , FEA-based modal analysis) are highly preferred.
- Fluent in ‌DFMEA‌, and ‌cost-driven optimization‌ for steel/CFRP components.
- ‌Global collaborator‌: English fluency to liaise with EU/South-Korea engineering teams on design reviews and root-cause analysis.
