Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled SAP Basis Consultant with 48 years of experience in managing SAP landscapes, system administration, and technical support. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in system installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC / S/4HANA / BW / PI / PO).
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Manage SAP transports, client copies, and system refresh activities.
- Handle SAP system upgrades, patching, and kernel updates.
- Administer users, roles, authorizations, and background jobs.
- Monitor system health, logs, and resolve technical issues proactively.
- Work on high availability, disaster recovery (DR), and backup strategies.
- Collaborate with functional teams and developers for issue resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for system failures and performance issues.
- Manage SAP systems in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid environments.
- Ensure security compliance and system hardening.




- Support SAP HANA database administration activities (basic/advanced).
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4–8 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience.
- Strong experience in:
- SAP system installation and configuration
- SAP upgrades and migrations
- Transport Management System (TMS)
- Working knowledge of:
- SAP HANA / Oracle / DB2 databases
- Unix/Linux and Windows OS administration
- Experience with:
- SAP Solution Manager
- System monitoring tools
- Knowledge of S/4HANA landscape and conversions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
