Job Description
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer Automation to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both manual and automation testing, with expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks and test cases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery across the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize automation test frameworks and scripts.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test execution strategies.
- Identify, log, track, and validate defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support issue resolution.
- Provide regular test status updates and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Utilize AI-powered QA tools and automation accelerators to improve testing efficiency.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Automation Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
- TestNG / JUnit
- Postman, REST Assured
- API Testing (REST & SOAP)
- Performance Testing tools such as JMeter
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools:
- JIRA
- Azure DevOps
- TestRail
- Experience with CI/CD tools:
- Jenkins
- GitHub Actions
- GitLab CI
- Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in at least one programming language:
- Java
- Python
- TypeScript
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience leading or mentoring QA team members.
