To be successful as a “Senior DevOps and AWS Engineer", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure build and lifecycle management.
- Experience working with AWS Cloud, CloudFormation, API Gateways etc.
- Experience with infrastructure configuration management tools, preferably Chef.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, ITRS, AppDynamics and ESaaS.
- Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment on Kubernetes.




- Experience with Gitlab CICD pipelines, automation, and integration with tools like SonarQube and Veracode etc.
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and scripting with Shell and PowerShell.
- Good understanding of security protocols (e.g., TLS), SSL certificates, and configuration settings.
- Familiarity with tools like CyberArk, CSM, Veracode and SonarQube for code quality and security scanning.
- Understanding networking concepts and firewall configurations.
- Experience on web hosting services like Apache and JBOSS.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, AWS CloudFormation templates for multi-workplace deployments
- CI/CD Best Practices: GitLab Runner configuration, pipeline optimization, artifact management, and deployment strategies (blue-green).
- Container Orchestration: Kubernetes cluster management, Helm charts.
- AWS Services: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route53, and AWS security best practices.
