Ledvore is hiring a Sales & Project Engineer with a mechanical engineering background to work from our Coimbatore office on behalf of one of our international automotive clients. This is a client-dedicated, engineering-rooted role — you'll be the frontline contact managing customer portal activity and international client relationships for automotive components/equipment.

This role is for mechanical engineers only
— not a software/IT sales or account management position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer portal activity on behalf of the client (automotive supplier portals, sourcing/RFQ platforms) — tracking tasks through to closure
- Serve as the frontline contact for international customer discussions in the automotive sector
- Coordinate between the client's European/US customers and internal engineering teams on technical proposals and quotations
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and component requirements (basic CAD literacy required)
- Handle multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced,



deadline-driven setting
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with international clients
- Work on a shift basis, including a second shift (~1:30–2:00 PM start) to overlap with European/US hours

Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma required
- 2–3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical/sales role, ideally automotive or industrial B2B
- Basic CAD familiarity (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Experience or strong aptitude for handling international clients (Europe/USA)
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (non-negotiable)
- Comfortable working on shift basis
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Nice to Have:
- Prior exposure to automotive supplier portals (Ford/Covisint, SAP Ariba, or similar)
- Working knowledge of AI tools for productivity
