About the Role

The SVP – Hedge Fund Accounting is a senior strategic leader responsible for driving operational excellence, client relationship management, and transformation initiatives across the Hedge Fund Accounting function. This role oversees large, multi-location teams and partners closely with global stakeholders to deliver high-quality fund administration services, process automation, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate brings 17+ years of deep expertise in Alternative Investment Fund Administration, strong leadership capabilities, and a track record of scaling operations in a global workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Management
- Define and drive the Hedge Fund Accounting strategy for India in alignment with global Fund Services leadership.
- Lead large, multi-tiered teams across multiple locations, ensuring optimal workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational scalability.
- Oversee migration planning, talent acquisition, hiring quality, and capability development of senior managers and managers.
- Develop and execute automation and transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance service delivery.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the senior escalation point for global clients and internal business units.
- Strengthen and maintain strategic relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and high satisfaction levels.
