Role Objective

The Export Manager will be responsible for driving Alankaram's international business growth by identifying new export opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, expanding the global customer base, and ensuring the successful execution of export orders. The role requires a strong understanding of international trade, global furniture markets, export compliance, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities1.
- Identify and develop recent international markets for Alankaram's furniture products.
- Generate business opportunities through distributors, dealers, retailers, architects, interior designers, hospitality groups, and project clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with international buyers, channel partners, and sales agents.
- Develop strategic plans to expand the company's global footprint.
- Represent the company in international trade fairs, exhibitions, buyer-seller meets, and networking events





2. Export Sales Planning & Execution
- Prepare and execute annual export sales plans aligned with business objectives.
- Achieve export revenue and profitability targets.
- Develop market-specific pricing strategies and product portfolios.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, Incoterms, and delivery schedules with international customers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.

3. Export Operations & Order Management
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams for timely execution of export orders.
- Ensure smooth order processing from purchase order to final shipment.
- Monitor production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
- Coordinate packaging, container planning, freight forwarding, and shipment schedules.
